In 1890 Giles great-grandfather arrived at St Sernin as a workman, a few years
later, he acquired of piece of vineyard. Giles represents the fifth generation. The
property extends on four communes: St Sernin du Plain, St Maurice Layers,
Sampigny Maranges, Cheilly Maranges.
A total area of 13 hectares. The wine making has remained traditional, picked off
vintage has 100%, pigeage and reassembly at a rate of 2 times per day of
alcoholic fermentation lasted 8 days and variable maceration of  8 days  to
obtain a better concentration of the aromas, colors and tannins.  The wines
bottle age between 9 and 12 months for release.

Brilliant  red ruby, crimson color. A nose of  red fruit flavours ( raspberry, cherry).  On the
palate it has refreshing acidity where the flavours of the nose are found. The Wood is very
discrete and the finish  is rather rich and  harmonious.
